Mica top light

The Mica top light is a lighter version of the original Mica top which is a festive top with shimmer. Mica top light edition is worked top-down in 1 strand of Lerke and 1 strand of Glitter, both from Dale Garn. It is worked on 4,5 mm needles. 

The top can be made in 8 different sizes and has a close-fitting yet elastic fit.

Size guide 

The top can be made in sizes a (b) c (d) e (f) g (h) which correspond to bust measurements of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) cm. The top is formfitting and has a negative ease of about 25-30 cm smaller than your bust measurement.

Top measurements 

Circumference: 52 (56) 61 (66) 71 (80) 91 (101) cm. 

Length (on the back): 26 (27) 28 (29) 30 (32) 33 (34) cm.

Yarn

The top is made in 1 strand of Glitter from Dale garn (20 g = 150 m) and 1 strand of Lerke from Dale garn (50 g = 115 m). For the sizes a (b) c (d) e (f) g (h) you will need: 

Glitter: 100 (100) 100 (100) 150 (150) 150 (200) grams corresponding to 2 (2) 2 (2) 3 (3) 3 (4) skeins.

Lerke: 150 (150) 150 (150) 200 (200) 200 (200) grams corresponding to 3 (3) 3 (3) 4 (4) 4 (4) skeins.

Recommended needles 

Circular needles 4,5 mm, 60 cm for stockinette stitch and ribbing.

Optionally, 2 double-pointed needles 4,5 mm for the I-cord, if you prefer knitting I-cord on double-pointed needles rather than on a circular needle.

Knitting gauge

The top has a gauge of 10x10 cm on 18 sts x 20 r on 4,5 mm needles in stockinette stitch.
