Aviaja mittens

The Aviaja mittens are a pair of warm and soft mittens with a braid in the centre. The mittens are worked from the cuff up on 5 mm needles with one strand of Drops Lima and one strand of Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk.

Size guide 

The Aviaja mittens are onesize but can easily be made longer or shorter. 

Yarn

The Aviaja mittens are made in 1 strand of Drops Lima (50 g = 100 m) and 1 strand of Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk (25 g = 140 m). For 1 pair of mittens you will need 100 grams of Drops Lima corresponding to 2 skeins and 50 grams of Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk corresponding to 2 skeins. 

The white Aviaja mittens in the picture are made in Drops Lima color 0100 Nature and Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk color 01 Nature.

Recommended needles 

4,5 mm needles either magic loop or double pointed needles 

5 mm needles either magic loop or double pointed needles

The pattern has a gauge of 10x10 cm on 16 sts x 26 r on 5 mm needles in stockinette stitch.
